For years we’ve heard that salt is bad for us and causes high-blood pressure and other health problems.

For me, it begs the question then:

WHY when you go into hospital for a serious trauma situation do they put you on a saline (salt water) drip?

The truth is SALT has healed humanity from infection and inflammation for generations.

In fact, SALT is the electrolyte that your body and all 10,000 trillion + cells runs on to keep functioning at their highest capacity.

Afraid of salt?  Be prepared for some health problems.
Embrace salt…and those nagging sniffles, infections and nasty winter flus will become a thing of the past.

Of course, you need to avoid commercial grade “table” salt, that has in most cases been infused with aluminium so that it doesn’t cake.

Just make sure you go for salt that is nature-made like Sea Salt, Himalayan, or even a Rock Salt that hasn’t been tampered with in any way. Put it in your pantry, carry it with you in your handbag, in the car…take it with you wherever you go!

My firm belief is this:

If you include salt in your diet every day as part of a sensible lifestyle, you’ll have less aches and pains in your body, you’ll have strong healthy bones and you’ll soon find that being sick will become a thing of the past!

Whatever you do, please don’t be afraid of salt – just know your source and include some in your diet everyday!
